L’épicerie du Cirque*

This 1 Michelin star restaurant, L’épicerie du Cirque, is located in Antwerp, Belgium. It was quite difficult to find a parking spot close by, but we have managed eventually. This isn’t the first time we have been here.

Interior
The inside looks Scandinavian inspired, it looks elegant and cosy urban. The seats and tables are quite close together.

When we came here with a group of around 11 friends they created a long table for us.

Good food
The dishes were well-prepared, tasted wonderful, and were pleasant to see. Our friends agreed that in this as well. They were very pleased with what was served.

Staff
Staff was dressed quite casually which was nice to see, and they were very friendly.

Update: this restaurant was closed in 2018. A new restaurant under the name L’épicerie du Cirque “under the Palm Trees” has been opened by Dennis Broeckx and Ellen Destuyver.
