Hofbäckerei Edegger-Tax

This bakery has an amazing decorated shop facade. It’s the oldest still functioning bakery in Graz, founded in 1569.

The product range includes traditional bakery products from the times of Österreich-Ungarnmonarchy and even special products for celiac disease.

You can feel the history radiating of the building. We bought some bread and a heart shaped metal box with sweets as a souvenir.

Staff was friendly. We ate our bread outside the bakery on a bench close by.
